SUMMARY: The Senior Project Accountant assists Project Managers with the financial aspects of their projects and acts as a liaison with the accounting department. Analyzes and reports on all aspects of assigned projects, helping to determine potential opportunities or risks that are associated with each project. This position reports to the Director of Finance. REQUIRED EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and seven years accounting experience; or 10 plus years’ experience equivalent of education in the A/E/C industry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

SUMMARY The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and producing marketing material to showcase Johnston’s staff and expertise. This role organizes, coordinates, and controls activities involved in the preparation of marketing qualifications, proposals, submittals, and presentations, as well as all graphics for external and internal purposes. This position reports to the Marketing Manager. REQUIRED EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or technical related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in architecture, engineering, or other professional services industry.
  • Exceptional visual graphics, writing, editing, and organizational skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, preferred).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: Proposal Management
  • Organizes, coordinates, and controls activities involved in the preparation of marketing qualifications, proposals, submittals, and presentations.
  • Attends pre-proposal conferences, professional meetings, or other marketing related events as needed.
  • Prepares responses to forms, client questionnaires, and qualifying statements as required.
  • Updates and produces submittals for company registrations and listings.

ARCHITECTURE

Project Architect

SUMMARY: In partnership with the Project Manager and Project Designer, the Project Architect has responsibility for the project’s financial performance and team communication. The Project Architect is responsible for the issuance and content of deliverables, technical content of Johnston documents, coordination of disciplines and consultants, and for the supervision of all staff producing documents and is responsible for the implementation of Construction Phase Services in collaboration with the Project Manager. The Project Architect is responsible for securing QA reviews and the implementation of comments. Must be a licensed Architect and is responsible for signing/sealing drawings. Needs to participate in and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. REQUIRED EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • 6+ years’ design experience
  • 5 years’ experience working on architecturally significant buildings
  • Licensed Architect with current registration
  • LEED accredited is a plus
SKILLS OF THE JOB:
  • Ability to monitor design process to ensure the overall design intent of the project is properly executed and incorporated into the detailed documentation.
  • Responsible for technical resolution and coordination of a project.
  • Effective communication with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews, and delivery of final presentation.

SUMMARY: Coordinates and/or undertakes the design development, production, and delivery of complex architectural projects as a member of the project design team or on own projects. Assignments require independent action and decision making, as well as ability to supervise others. This position reports to the Director of Architecture. REQUIRED EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.
  • Six plus years’ experience in architecture.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design.
  • LEED credential is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM required.
  • Proficiency in Newforma preferred.
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Illustrator.
