Client Manager

The Client Manager serves as a trusted advisor and liaison to our Clients ensuring the best client service in the industry. Being proactive and providing excellent client service, the Client Manager engages the client and listens to their needs to provide solutions to complex problems. Engages our clients in explorations that respectfully challenge their understanding of appropriate design solutions. Responsible for Johnston’s reputation and recognition in the market. Creates new business pursuits, develops, and manages client relationships, and assists with the qualification and proposal process. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or management; or equivalent relevant experience and knowledge
  • Experience with government, healthcare, commercial projects
  • Experience working in integrated teams
  • Ability to convey technical knowledge in architecture and engineering and a broad knowledge of building and construction methods
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision and Cosential, preferred.

Johnston is actively looking for a smart, intuitive Electrical Engineer with healthcare experience to join our talented team of MEP Engineers. In partnership with the Project Manager, the Project Engineer has responsibility for a project’s financial performance and team communication. He/She is responsible for the successful delivery of medium to large building projects as well as developing project concepts and budgets. He/She is responsible for completing site assessments and writing reports to create solutions for our clients as well as for managing and mentoring a team of Engineers and Designers. Qualifications:

  • 10+ years project engineering experience in all phases of project
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Licensed PE
  • Experience working in integrated teams
  • Leadership ability working in a consultancy environment
  • Experience with healthcare, government and education project types
  • Experience with complex analysis tools for electrical design
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge in Engineering and a broad knowledge of engineering systems, calculations and construction methods
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM - ARCH FLASH experience a plus

Senior Marketing Coordinator

Johnston is looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator who will help drive initiatives to enhance Johnston’s brand, market presence, and business portfolio in the areas of marketing and business development. This position will also manage and/or assist with content and brand messaging in submittals, presentations, and PR material. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 7 years marketing experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Exceptional creative writing and visual graphics skills.
  • Editing and proofreading of technical information.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred).
  • Fluency with CRM Software (Cosential and Deltek Vision a plus).
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Strong creation, editing and proofreading abilities for messaging and content.
  • Aptitude for comprehending and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to create content and deliver the firm’s messages to its external and internal audiences in alignment with the firm’s business, marketing, and public relations strategies.
