GEICO Office Renovations

Johnston provided MEP engineering services for two GEICO office renovations—a 200,000 sf warehouse-to-office renovation in Richardson and a 55,000 sf call center build-out in Katy.

The Richardson project transformed a former Fossil headquarters and warehouse into a bright, functional corporate office and call center. The new space is designed to accommodate GEICO’s future growth and can house more than 2,000 associates. The open plan provides a collaborative work environment in a campus-styled setting. The design was completed quickly to allow GEICO employees to relocate from their Dallas location to Richardson on an accelerated schedule.

The Katy office renovation encompassed the build-out of half of an existing 2-story building. Like the Richardson location, most of the space is dedicated to call center workstations and offices.
